So long Zertz. It's been fun, but we found someone better for us. In our humble opinion, the Roubaix Pro represents the future of road bikes, and in a second, you'll see exactly why.
The super-light frame has been constructed from our FACT 10r carbon fibre. Its stiffness levels are also off the charts, and compared to the SL4 iteration of yesteryear, you'll experience a whole new, faster, and more efficient geometry. Through some engineering sorcery, however, we've managed to keep the same fit, feel, and position that we've all come to love from the SL4, and kept it consistent throughout the size-range due to our Rider-First Engineered™ construction.
Of course, you're probably thinking, ""get on to the suspension thing up front."" We call it Future Shock, and essentially, it's a piston in the head tube with 20mm of travel. We developed this technology in partnership with McLaren Applied Technologies, and the result of this are a host of drastic performance improvements, namely in the vertical compliance department. Without giving a physics lecture, we found that focusing on vertical compliance, instead of fork splay, meant that we could improve smoothness, speed, and comfort in one fell swoop. And of all the bikes that we've tested with our Rolling Efficiency Model, the new Roubaix outperforms anything on the market.
Lastly, we spec'd it top of the line equipment, like Dura-Ace 9100 mechanical shifting, 9120 hydraulic disc brakes, and the lightweight and durable Roval CL 32 carbon wheels.
Since 1974 Specialized have been producing innovative and technically advanced cycling products.
The Stumpjumper is recognised as the first commercially available mountain bike back in 1981. The Roubaix in 2005 begun the endurance road category and has gone onto to win three times at Paris-Roubaix. Today the brand represents all types of riders, from performance, mountain biking to commuting and children.
Dales Cycles has been selling Specialized since 1988 and today are one of the leading stores for the brand in the UK. We have a BodyGeometry Fit service with the only Level 3 Certified fitter in Scotland.
All our staff have many years’ experience with the Specialized brand and will be able to offer you the best advice for your riding needs. Authorised as a S-Works and Test Centre location with accredited fit and service technicians for the Venge ViAS “Aero is Everything” road bicycle.

In addition to our 'Ready to Ride' premium delivery service, we also offer a 'Free Standard Delivery' option on all bikes, and orders over £20*. Bikes ordered using the free service will require some basic setup on delivery. An easy to follow setup guide is provided with all bikes using the free delivery service.

Due to the extra weight of electric bikes, we are unable to ship these fully assembled. Instead, your bike will be built, configured and checked by our mechanics before being packed back into it's original box.
This method requires removing the front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seatpost, which will need to be reinstalled upon arrival.
To help with this we have a video guiding you through every step! However, if there's anything you'd like any help or advice, please contact us by calling 0141 332 2705 or by e-mailing [email protected]
