With the Diverge Sport, you'll be prepared for anything, from smooth tarmac to the loosest, roughest tracks out there. It's packed with all the same technologies as its pricier cousins, only its spec places an emphasis on reliable performance, not components so flashy you'll be eating nothing but top ramen for months.
With a completely redesigned frame, the new Diverge is more capable than ever. And with the constant goal to best meet your needs, we took your number one request into account—tire clearance. The new frame will comfortably fit up to 700x42mm tires with plenty of room for mud, too. Along with tire clearance, weight was a large factor in the development, and taking some design cues from the development of the Roubaix, we developed an E5 Premium Aluminium frame that’s plenty light, certainly stiff for hard efforts, and undeniable durable.
Next up, we moved away from a traditional ‘cross geometry, instead opting for something that hasn’t been seen before—Open Road Geometry. We know what you’re thinking, “it’s just another marketing term,” but for the Diverge, we truly did develop an entirely new geometry. With a touch less hyperbole, you can think of it as a road version of modern trail bike geometry. It provides playful handling and predictable steering for endless dirt skids and mid-corner drifts. The geo features a bottom bracket that's over a half-centimetre lower than the previous Diverge, a slacked-out head tube angle, short chainstays, and a short wheelbase. These changes make for a bike that's not only fun in the dirt, but also performs well on the road.
To add to its multi-faceted talents, we topped the new Diverge off with three water bottle mounts, and mounts for racks and fenders,–so while it’s one of the most fun bikes you’ll ever shred fire roads on, it’s equally adept at bike packing, commuting, or even a spin to your local brewery. The spec, meanwhile, hits right on the money with a sturdy Shimano Sora groupset, hassle-free mechanical disc brakes, and a strong Axis Sport wheelset.
- Our Premium E5 aluminium frameset features our comfortable, but confidence-inspiring Open Road Geometry, Future Shock suspension with 20mm of travel, and front/rear thru-axles, making it the ultimate tool for your next adventure.
- The lightweight FACT carbon fork is plenty stiff, aiding in handling, rigidity, and an overall light weight.
- The Praxis Alba 2D is an incredibly stiff crankset with supreme ramping for precise shifts between the rings.

Fully Assembled Delivery from Dales Cycles
Dales Cycles is one of the only online cycle retailers in the Uk to offer a delivery option that trly reflects a 'fully built' bike arriving at your door. This premium delivery option is known as 'Ready to Ride' and costs £30* per bike.
'Ready to Ride' bikes come in a bespoke bike box, with a minimal packaging approach and all tools supplied, you really can be off and riding your new bike in less than a few minutes.
This unique premium delivery service eliminates the need for foam, bubble wrap and zip-ties too, so it’s also better for the planet. We recycle all this stuff, so where you can, please try and do the same. Apart from doing your bit for mother Earth, it will give you a warm, fuzzy feeling that you just can't buy!
Bikes are excluded from next day delivery to allow for assembly and quality checking by our team of professional bike builders.
Free Standard Delivery
In addition to our 'Ready to Ride' premium delivery service, we also offer a 'Free Standard Delivery' option on all bikes, and orders over £20*. Bikes ordered using the free service will require some basic setup on delivery. An easy to follow setup guide is provided with all bikes using the free delivery service.
Bikes are excluded from next day delivery to allow for assembly and quality checking by our team of professional bike builders.
Electric Bikes
Due to the extra weight of electric bikes, we are unable to ship these fully assembled. Instead, your bike will be built, configured and checked by our mechanics before being packed back into it's original box.
This method requires removing the front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seatpost, which will need to be reinstalled upon arrival.

Delivery Time
We try our best to process orders as soon as we receive them, most orders will be dispatched within 24 hours and we aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days of order confirmation.
Delivery times may be longer in circumstances where items need to be specially ordered due to size requirements or the item no longer being in stock and you would like an alternative or to wait on it arriving back into stock.
We will advise you of any possible delays when you place your order.
You will receive an email confirmation at various stages of your order process as well as upon dispatch.

Delivery Handling
We use either TNT, DHL, DPD or Royal Mail Tracked Delivery Service for all deliveries.
A signature will be required to receive your order*
When we dispatch your order, you will receive an e-mail containing a TNT, DHL, DPD or Royal Mail tracking number.
You can use these emails to access TNT, DHL, DPD or Royal Mails Track and Trace system on their respective websites. This will give you information regarding expected delivery times.
All orders are sent using either TNT Next Working Day, DHL Next Working Day, DPD Next Working Day or Royal Mail tracked service.
Depending on your location and the time of year, your order should arrive, at the latest, 3 working days after dispatch.
If your item has not been received after this time you can contact TNT, DHL, DPD or Royal Mail directly, quoting your Tracking Reference number or contact Dales Cycles by emailing [email protected].
Although we can take no responsibility for any delivery delays or problems out-with our control caused by TNT, DHL, DPD, Royal Mail or any other carrier, we will do all we can to help resolve any delivery problems.
You will be responsible for the items as soon as they are delivered so please check your delivery before you sign for it and if your package is damaged please sign for it as such and contact us to let us know.

Christmas Deliveries
Over the Christmas period our website and store will be closed on the dates found here. Orders can still be placed during this time and will be processed as quickly as possible when the doors open again.
Please note that in the case of items which need to be ordered in for you, our suppliers will be operating their own schedule of Christmas closures. If this would cause a delay to your order we will be in touch in inform you and help arrange the best solution.
