Giant & Liv at Dales Cycles

Dales Cycles Ltd has been a partner of Giant in the UK since its first introduction in 1989. In fact, we are recorded as being their first still trading partner appointed in the UK.

Giant UK said of Dales Cycles, ?The fantastic family feel to Dales and the attention to customer service make them one of the leading retailers in Europe and we just love working with them.?

Giant was founded in 1972 with a mission: to create better bikes and improve the cycling experience. From the very start, innovation and manufacturing expertise set us apart.

It began with their lightweight chromoly frames. Giant's ability to produce high-quality bikes at an affordable price allowed more riders to experience cycling in a whole new way. Since then, Giant has pioneered advancements in both aluminium and composite engineering.

Giant introduced the first affordable carbon fibre bike, the Cadex 980 C, and revolutionized high-performance road bikes with the Compact Road Design. In mountain biking, Giant's Maestro Suspension established a new level of performance for off-road riding and racing.

Even today, the Compact Road Design is evident in models like the TCR, Defy and Avail, and the Maestro suspension platform is utilised in the popular Trance, Lust and Anthem model lines.

Last season, Giant rebranded their ladies? division under the "Liv" banner. You?ll now see all Giant women?s bicycles adorned with the Liv logo, emphasising their commitment to the ladies? market, with intelligently and sensitively designed products.

Over the last four decades, Giant has grown well beyond its manufacturing roots to become one of the world's leading brands of quality bicycles and gear.

Giant like to say that, ?Our bikes win world championships. They win design awards, too. But most importantly, they win the hearts of riders who choose to make cycling a part of their lives. We support that choice. We think it makes the world a better place.?

RIDE LIFE. RIDE GIANT.

Dales Cycles is one of the only online cycle retailers in the Uk to offer a delivery option that trly reflects a 'fully built' bike arriving at your door. This premium delivery option is known as 'Ready to Ride' and costs £30* per bike.

'Ready to Ride' bikes come in a bespoke bike box, with a minimal packaging approach and all tools supplied, you really can be off and riding your new bike in less than a few minutes.

This unique premium delivery service eliminates the need for foam, bubble wrap and zip-ties too, so it’s also better for the planet. We recycle all this stuff, so where you can, please try and do the same. Apart from doing your bit for mother Earth, it will give you a warm, fuzzy feeling that you just can't buy!

Free Standard Delivery

In addition to our 'Ready to Ride' premium delivery service, we also offer a 'Free Standard Delivery' option on all bikes, and orders over £20*. Bikes ordered using the free service will require some basic setup on delivery. An easy to follow setup guide is provided with all bikes using the free delivery service.

Bikes are excluded from next day delivery to allow for assembly and quality checking by our team of professional bike builders.

Electric Bikes

Due to the extra weight of electric bikes, we are unable to ship these fully assembled. Instead, your bike will be built, configured and checked by our mechanics before being packed back into it's original box.

This method requires removing the front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seatpost, which will need to be reinstalled upon arrival.

To help with this we have a video guiding you through every step! However, if there's anything you'd like any help or advice, please contact us by calling 0141 332 2705 or by e-mailing [email protected]
