Mountain bike helmets

Mountain bike helmets tend to be lightweight with perhaps not as many vents as road helmets and may have extra coverage to the rear of the head and a deeper covering of the skull in general. Aerodynamics are not generally an issue off road either, so peaks are often a welcome accessory for keeping both the rain and sun out of the riders eyes.
